Did you know that each Portuguese person generates around 1.5 kg of waste per day? The Portuguese Environmental Agency launched this awareness campaign to highlight this problem.

“The Portuguese Environmental Agency is an agency that manages environmental policies in general, with a particular focus on the area of waste. We face major challenges in waste management that we clearly need to overcome, and we need people to help us achieve our goals. That is why running this campaign is so important — being here where people can see that, when they separate their waste, it has value.”

Interview with Ana Cristina Carrola, member of the Board of the Portuguese Environmental Agency.
